I do kinda feel sorry for her. The "kinda" is there because she's such a witchy snob. If she weren't - if she were just stupid - I'd completely feel sorry for her. She was taken advantage of by one older man (Stape), kidnapped, then compensated, only to be taken advantage by another older man (Strong). Will she be compensated again? I think not.
Pfft not likely. I'm the same age as the character and i disagree with Yoork that she was taken advantage of, she knows exactly what she's doing. Well as much as her candyfloss brain'll let her. Only thing that made me feel sorry for her was the kidnapping.
Not me!
One of the most annoying characters the show has seen in years. She needs to have something horrible happen to her to bring her back to earth. The actress does such a good job making people hate her.
Not a bit of it, she didnt deserve that money anyway and she is so nasty to everyone, cant feel any sympathy for her at all! I feel sorry that Stape's grannie who probably worked hard all her life had her inheritance squandered by low lifes!
No, no, no --not sorry...Rosie was going to squandor the money away on "permanent" stuff like shoes anyway. Luke can steal the money and probably open up another factory somewhere...
Is she stupid? I'm not sure she's all that stupid -- sometimes she's portrayed as a ditz and other times she pretty savvy -- threatening to go to the "Tribunal" if Luke fired her...John Stape who taught her literature seemed to think she was university material and hoped her money was put to her education (unlike her own mother!)
Anyway, it's no fun to watch unless people like Rosie and Sal get her due --Oh ma! We're back to being poor! We're gonna have to sell the house! Oh no...not the house! What about our CONSERVATORY !!!
It's no fun when things don't change in the soaps...maybe now Theresa can go from poor tramp to rich curry entrepreneur and she can stick her nose up at Liz -- lowly barmaid/part owner!
I feel a bit sorry for her, she's stupid and a strumpet but she's young and naive also.
yes you have to feel sorry for her she had been kidnapped and held my john stape and now she lose all her money!
Nope, not me either!
