I liked the polls that used to be on the right hand.
*right hand column
Agree with Anonymous. As well as essays on various subjects: women of corrie (over the years), men of corrie (over the years), Loves and Loaths of the month, posts showing photos of how current stalwarts have changed over the years (eg Emily, Rita, Deirdre), summaries of weddings, births and deaths, tributes to various characters, what if... post (eg what if Maggie Clegg had stayed, what if Len Fairclough was still alive etc), looking back at a certain year every week. Just a few ideas, and some ideas from Neighbours tribute site - Perfect Blend.
I like the "highlights" and the "lowlights." The quick summary is also well done. Don't dislike anything!
I love the random stuff the most. The weekly awards always make me laugh. As do the episode reviews. Lovin' your work Corrie bloggers!
I love it and check it out every day or for sure every second day!
I enjoy the summaries, the highlights and the lowlights and the Fab Photo's!
Thanks for all this feedback, it's really intersting and I've started putting the polls back, I missed them too!
The content on the site is spot on, although polls would be cool I'd like to see improvements to the general look and feel, mostly by expanding the posts as at the moment they are in a tiny section of the middle of the page. For large monitors, it just looks lost.
Good ideas JohnB but we're a bit stuck with the blogspot layout unless you can help and know how to change it?
Love the "highlights", the "lowlights" and "lines of the week" - in fact I love everything!
Ooh also I really liked 'Street style'. I think that was what it was called! I remember some features on clothes, jewellery and also Maria's house decor which were all really good!
Been watching Corrie for almost fifty years and admired much of the clever writing and fine acting over this time.
Bewildered by some of the recent scripts and find some of the acting absolutely dire.
The young lady playing Kate, in particular drives me to distraction with the over acting and facial grimaces. She's obviously a graduate of the Sue-Ellen Ewing school.
Please keep it REAL.
What the hell is happening to the programme? Characters have become parodies and the plots are ludicrous. Do we really need the charmless Gemma talking whilst eating with her mouth full? I,and several of my friends, are seriously considering no longer watching the programme.
