I was surprised to read that Tony Gordon's set to have a heart attack as I thought he clearly didn't have a heart. But anyway, bad jokes aside, it looks like Coronation Street's latest villain will have a coronary by the canal after confessing to Roy Cropper that he killed Liam Connor.

I would say Jez Quigley since he didn't seem to have any redeeming features whatsoever. Alan did love his daughter, i think, Richard loved his family and Tony seems to have a good side somewhere under all that. The fact that Tony can feel guilt shows that but it doesn't excuse him.
I can't help thinking that they could have come up with a slightly more realistic obligatory-just-desserts-for-a-soap-killer for Tony Gordon than a heart attack. That's not to say that healthy, fit, young-ish men don't succumb to heart attacks - they plainly do - but it just seems a little bit unlikely that Maria could be so cruelly deprived of true love and happiness just a year after experiencing the very same thing when the previous love of her life also croaked prematurely (albeit thanks to TG).
