Breaking news this morning from ITV... they've cast someone to play Nick Tilsley 3.0, most recently played by Adam Rickett.
The new Nick will be played by Ben Price who's a little older than Adam, and is from Newcastle (close enough to RGlenda's home stomping grounds to make her happy I think!). Fans of Footballers' Wives will recognize Ben from that show. He played Conrad Gates there and he played Nathan Spencer on Casualty.
ITV says Nick will arrive near Christmas and has an encounter with Tina which David isn't going to like very much at all when he finds out. (A. What about Jason? B. How much is David supposed to take? C. Nick's women seem to be getting younger and younger!) With Nick's ex-wife Leanne on the scene and also his ex-lover Maria in the picture, things look to be very interesting. Will Nick get along with Joe or will he be suspicious and subsequently protective of his mother? Will David launch a new psycho-campaign against his adored older brother?

Yup, he'll do! Can't wait for Nick to return.
Definitely worth watching, he is.
The actor is 39 but Nick was born in 1980 so is he a little too old? Is Nick back for good from Canada or was it Manchester he went off to?
Yes he's a bit old for the part but it's better than casting a pretty young man that can't act. Like last time. ooops... did i say that out loud?
LOL Tvor. I agree with you.
