Tracy Brabin once played Tricia Armstrong on Coronation Street, a role she held for three years on the show.
Now, Tracy is the MP for her home town of Batley & Spen, and Shadow Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
She caused a bit of a stir in Parliament this week when she was spotted - gasp, gosh, hold my medicine, matron - wearing an off-the-shoulder dress. Old codgers everywhere were up in arms and Tracy had to take to social media to defend herself. What is this, 1903?
I'm a big fan of Tracy Brabin, she's ace.
She's now donated the off-the-shoulder dress to a charity auction and it's so far raised over £1,000 for charity. Read more on that here.
And in The Yorkshire Post today, Tracy gives a lovely, long interview all about how her role as Tricia on Coronation Street helped prepare her for her new role as an MP. It's well worth a read and it's here.
