Coronation Street Spoiler: Is Geoff’s game almost up?

The previews are in from ITV for next week’s Corrie and Alya confides in Yasmeen that working for Ray was the biggest mistake of her life and she’d like to return to Speed Daal. Yasmeen’s delighted and Geoff paints on a smile.

At home, Yasmeen fusses over Charlotte the chicken. Geoff returns home and rails at Yasmeen for failing to have his dinner on the table. When Yasmeen apologises and explains how she was cleaning out the chicken coop and lost track of time, Geoff’s mood darkens. Yasmeen serves up a plate of vegetables and explains that she didn’t have enough money to buy any meat. How will Geoff react?

Gail’s perturbed to hear Yasmeen crying as she feeds her chickens. As Alya and Ryan head home, Gail approaches and tells them how she heard Yasmeen crying in the garden. Alya’s deeply troubled.

Okay - if Geoff has killed Charlotte and served her up to Yasmeen....this is the point of no return. Evil little troll of a man has to go.

difficult to watch the current scenes between Geoff and Yasmeen - hope he is found out and punished very soon.

I have been watching CS since the 1970s and now have to Fast Forward through all the episodes since I can't stand to see the horrific and pathologically disturbing scenes that Geoff evokes. Furthermore, CS should never have turned into a series of extremely distorted collection of mental illnesses as it were where it once was a light, humorous and realistic and enjoyable play of characters.
Whomever the writers are, they should join a film crew anxious to create versions of Silence of the Lambs...
