Corrie Comedy Cuts

Laughing is good for you. So to celebrate sixty years of Corrie I’m trawling through years worth of episodes to share the moments that have made me laugh the most.

Here’s my latest batch of Corrie Comedy Cuts:

Ena Sharples Talks Shop
This first clip is taken from the very first episode in 1960. Ena gets the lowdown on new shop owner Florrie Lindley. It's some of my favourite ever telly.

Mary Fears The Worst
This is a more recent clip. Norris has been away and when Mary finds an urn she fears the worst. A hilarious brawl ensues.

Fred's Blood Sausage
I noticed on Twitter there's a GIF of this scene and it made me laugh. It's from an episode in the 90s and Fred's having a bit of a flirt with Tanya in the Rovers. It's just silly really.

More clips to come soon.

Coronation Street’s 10,000th episode, written by Damon Alexis-Rochefort, airs tomorrow night (Friday).
