Coronation Street Spoiler: Gemma struggles with quads

The previews are in from ITV for next week’s Corrie and at Gemma’s insistence, she and Chesney return to the hospital to ask further questions about Aled’s deafness. The audiologist explains the cochlear implant procedure and recommends they consider it.

An exhausted Gemma refuses to sleep and keeps vigil over Aled’s cot, adamant he should see her face the moment he wakes. Chesney fears she’s wearing herself out and he makes a mobile to hang over Aled’s cot, with pictures of Gemma’s face dangling from it. Gemma’s moved when he shows her a few sign language phrases he’s learned.

Gemma attends a baby senses class with the quads. When Vanessa, the class leader, compliments her on her parenting skills, Gemma’s made up. When Vanessa suggests Gemma should come to her baby yoga class and assures her that she and her friend Imogen will help with the quads, Gemma’s chuffed.
