The previews are in from ITV for next week’s Corrie and Dev returns from India with only Asha. He tells Mary Asha has been an absolute nightmare and he is at his wits end. Mary tries to bring Asha out of her shell. But what is the teenager hiding?
When Asha drops her bag and the contents spill out, she quickly scoops up a tub of skin-lightening cream hoping Dev hasn’t spotted it. Mary vows to get to the bottom of what is troubling Asha
Dev also falls out with Evelyn after Steve tells him about Evelyn’s money making scam. But with profits up in the shop, Dev pleads with Evelyn to return.

I love Evelyn!! She's reminds me of the Corrie characters when it was still a great show. The dynamics of Dev and Evelyn could be comedy gold in the underused corner shop of yesteryear.
Time too that we saw more of the kids that grew up on the street and not all of these transplants that we don't care about.
