I am loving the sound of this Coronation Street spoiler which is in The Sun today.
Amy Barlow is going to get pregnant.
Mr Curry Sauce tells The Sun: “Amy is seen sobbing her heart out, asking her granny Liz to help. Steve finds a pregnancy kit and tells Tracy about it and they both lose their rag. Tracy says she wants to kill the baby’s father. They demand an abortion and Amy agrees but changes her mind at the 11th hour.”

How many times are they going to regurgitate this same old storyline?
First Sarah, then Faye, now Amy? Yawn.
A better story might be where someone from the street opened up a book and decided to use protection after learning what causes pregnancy.

Tracy threatening of killing the father cannot be dismissed as the angry reaction of an upset mother, given her history. she will hunt him down and plot then lie her way out of the consequences.
It does seem a bit repetitive. Faye's teen pregnancy story line wasn't even that long ago.
Why does every teenage girl have to get pregnant?! As Rebecca (15.12) said,it's time they realised what causes it. They have certainly seen enough examples.
Tracy certainly is her father's daughter!!

If this is true Amy is her father's daughter, making Stoopid mistakes. I found it more beleivable if Amy remained smarter than her parents.
Me too, anon. 21:21 - Amy is way too bright for that. For goodness sake, writers, can't you think of any other story line? You know what story would merit the headline,"Corrie Shocker"? Teens use birth control and avoid pregnancy!!! I hate how the writers make almost every single girl on the street look stupid. It's sexist, and lazy writing.
Enough with the pregnant teenagers! Sarah, Fay and now Amy! There must be something new to write about.
No doubt she will give the baby away or sell it(If she follows Tracy's example) to Rana and Kate. For a scriptwriter, babies are there to bicker over, or cry over, or to be stolen and kidnapped. They need to cause tension in some way. Or they're put on a shelf in the cellar of the Rovers and not see again until they start at Bessie st school. We've seen a lot of Angie's George but we haven't seen Sarah's Harry or Leaane's Oliver for a long while now.
Hope this one is untrue.
Isn't she like 12? What a boring storyline that is so out of character .
