Coronation Street Spoiler: Shona’s past puts Platts in danger
The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Shona’s past is going to put Max and Lily Platt in danger.
David is shocked when he discovers Shona is planning to give Clayton’s dad Dane £1000 from her scratch card winnings. But when Shona takes David with her to meet Dane and she refuses to hand over any money, Dane responds with some vile remarks about Kylie.
David sees red and Shona has to drag him away. But as they load Max and Lily into the car ready for their trip, Dane hurtles across the street, jumps in and locks himself inside with the kids.
David and Shona look on, horrified. Declaring their match is doomed, Shona walks out, leaving David shattered. Later in the week David and Shona have a heart-to-heart in the café.

If you want to tell a thug you're not giving him your money, it seems to me it would be smarter to do it any other way but face to face.
I do hope it is the end of Shona and David's "relationship".
Horrible story line. This show really went down when they brought in Shona and her group of people. I am tired of these back street lowlifes. What happened to the real Corrie?
And really...David and Shona? It's so ridiculous, it's actually laughable.
Who is in Shona's gang? As far as I can see only Shona. On other posts on this site today. Billy is getting a slating for being quiet and normal. You can't have it all ways
Think she's tried that already and it's not worked. I think she text him without success
I don't. I think they have a good chemistry together. People on here are to quick to dismiss characters and situations without giving them a chance to grow. Ah well
If a criminal is ignoring your texts that's all the more reason not to meet him face to face. This is how people get killed.
I think she'd have great chemistry with Steve. The show should try that instead of foisting Michelle back in his storyline via that stalking storyline.
Well how does she stop him then? At least the advantage lies with Shona if she meets up with him, accompanied by David, otherwise Dane could have the upper hand and catch her unawares if he made a suprise visit. What do you suggest?
