Coronation Street recently won an Observer Ethical Award. The
Bafta film and television award went to Coronation Street as the TV
drama of the highest quality, with the lowest possible environmental
impact.
Here now is an official Observer/Guardian video showing behind-the-scenes at Coronation Street after they won the award. It includes commentary from Executive Producer Kieran Roberts as well as Corrie cast and crew members and is well worth a look.

Nice to see this getting lots of visibility! Good stuff, Team Corrie!
Gosh, I was just perusing the Sundance Channel here in Canada and came across an indie film called Greenlit, where a Hollywood filmaker attempts to keep an environmentally friendly set thanks to the supervision of a "green" consultant. The insights are interesting, and there's humour too. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1409015/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_1
The takeaway is that it's not easy, but it's an industry that fills many land-fills. More reason to salute Corrie. Again. :-)
*Excellent....well done Corrie*...thanks for link, that was fun to watch!
