Coronation Street was voted Best Continuing Drama at the Royal Television Society North West Awards 2009.The ceremony was held on Saturday night in Manchester’s Hilton Deansgate. A full list of winners is available here.

Yay! I'm glad Corrie has got some recognition in this sort of category for once instead of that other soap! Corrie has been rather good this year too IMO, apart from Molvin and the Becky drama.
