We've been given some wonderful pictures from rehearsals at Corrie! The Play at the Atrincham Garrick Playhouse in the world amateur premier production.
Corrie! The Play is written by Jonathan Harvey and it's a fantastic play, I can't recommend it highly enough. It's an affectionate romp through 60 years of Corrie history that'll have you laughing and crying in equal measure.
The play covers the period from that first episode and for 50 more years.
Do you remember the legendary rows between Elsie Tanner and Ena Sharples, Hilda Ogden’s ‘murial’ and Gail’s many husbands? They are all here alongside the Ken, Deidre and Mike Baldwin affair and there is Alan Bradley’s demise under a Blackpool tram plus Richard Hillman’s fatal car crash into the canal.
Humour, excitement and tragedy are all part of this wonderful celebration of 50 years of Corrie!
The show runs from September 6th to 15th. Buy your tickets here.
