The previews are in for New Year’s week on Coronation Street and Chesney has two girls after him – Gemma and Emma.
Over dinner in Speed Daal, Emma gazes adoringly at Chesney but he’s preoccupied by texts from Gemma. In a bid to win Chesney’s heart, Emma tries being more like Gemma and Chesney’s taken aback.
Despite her own feelings for Chesney, Gemma urges him to do something romantic for Emma.

I agree completely anon. I can't stand her either. She is way, way over the top!
Sorry, I am in Camp Gemma. She brings out a side of Chesney that nobody else has been able to. And he brings out the best in her.
Gemma is definatelty OTT. Her worst is when she talks with her mouth Full.
