The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and there’s a treat in store for Kana fans as Kate and Rana reunite.
Unaware of their reunion an oblivious Sophie invites Kate round for tea. But when Sally raises a toast to Sophie and Kate an uncomfortable Kate realises she has to let Sophie go and asks to speak to her alone.
A heartbroken Sophie sells her window cleaning van to Aidan and confides in him that she is in need of a change of career. I wonder what she’s going to try her hand at this time?

Oh, Sophie will bounce back, she always does. And her change of career will go seamlessly as well, no doubt - whatever it turns out to be. This character has been a spare part for some years, drifting along at the edge of the action with no clearly defined direction or sense of purpose. I'm sure Brooke Vincent is capable of tackling better material than the crumbs which are thrown her way...
She could do some colleage courses like Fiz and Steve did. Or maybe she'll take over for Rosie for a while at Adam's office when Helen Flanagan goes on leave.
