Where have you seen Corrie's wedding celebrant before?
If you're wondering where you've seen Hazel, the woman who played the celebrant at Aidan and Eva's wedding before, then wonder no more.
The celebrant is played by Hayley Cartwright who has been in Coronation Street before, as the celebrant at Baby Oliver's christening (it's not a christening it's a naming ceremony) that was held at the Bistro earlier this year. We blogged about that here.
Hayley is the voice of Donna in Magic Hands for CBeebies, a groundbreaking show that was nominated for a Broadcast Award. She’s also worked in TV with such credits as: That's Manchester and in various films. Her latest film in which she plays the fabulous character of the Devil’s P.A, will premier this summer.
Her reviews are fantastic, and her stage acting profile is amazing. There is far too much to blog here, so I urge you have a look at her Spotlight CV which outlines all of her TV, stage, film, radio and voiceover work.
Corrie fans who have been on the Coronation Street Tour might recognise Hayley as she performed as a tour guide there, gaining glowing reviews!
She is also one half of The Lipstick Thespians, with Alexis Tuttle, and enjoys being the diversity rep for Manchester on behalf of the local Equity branch. Last year, she organised for Equity to participate in the Manchester Pride parade, and she will be repeating that this year.
And finally, yes I’ve met her and yes, she is as lovely as she looks in her profile pic!

What a fantastic episode! I fastforwarded not to avoid stories but to rush ahead and see what happens with Eva!!!!
I loved that she called Toyah 'Sis'. The joining of these two characters is awesome. I love the three 'sisters' and the bridge that Leanne has created for both Toyah and Eva to have that extra connection.
I love that Toyah stuck with Eva to the end.
I was glad that Adam could not pull out of the plan, as it seems obvious that Aiden will not be as forgiving as Eva has been.
Loved Rita singing, and loved the way that Gemma picked up on her confusion and made mention of the poster. Also Jenny showed genuine concern for someone other than herself, and who doesn't love Johnny.
I have to go back and watch the rest to be honest. But kudos to Corrie. Loved the episode!
And your write up was amazing as well.
