Corrie's evil Nathan Curtis to star in stage play

Chris Harper, who plays evil Nathan Curtis in Coronation Street, will be joining the cast of a new production of Strangers on a Train which will embark on a UK tour next year.

Directed by Anthony Banks (Gaslight), the cast features John Middleton (Emmerdale), Christopher Harper (Coronation Street), Jack Ashton (Call the Midwife) and Hannah Tointon (Hollyoaks).

Written by Craig Warner, Strangers On A Train is adapted from Patricia Highsmith's 1950 thriller, and was famously adapted for film by Alfred Hitchcock, starring Farley Granger and Robert Walker as the titular strangers who meet on a train and plot to 'swap' murders.

Strangers on a Train opens at Theatre Royal Brighton on 5 January 2018 and then tours to Sheffield, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, Woking, Richmond, Cambridge, York, Aylesbury and Cardiff.
