Free event: 50 from the 50s at Salford Museum and Art Gallery


To mark the opening of the new Tony Warren exhibition at Salford Museum and Art Gallery next month - you can take an informal look at the Salford of the 1950s which inspired Tony Warren to create Coronation Street.

In this talk at Salford Museum and Art Gallery, the focus is 50 photos of Salford and the wider area from 1950 - 1959, using images from 'Digital Salford'.

It takes place on Monday November 20th from 2pm to 3pm and the same talk is repeated on Monday 11 December at 2pm.

The Museum is closed to the public on a Monday, but the cafe and shop are open as usual. Please meet in reception for the presentation.
