Who are you and where are you from?
I'm Amber, and I'm from Oxfordshire.
How long have you been watching Corrie?
I've been watching Corrie for a couple of years but enjoy watching back past episodes too and I've been enjoying watching the 50th anniversary box set DVDs.
Who are your favourite female and male characters - and the reasons why?
My favourite female characters are Eva, Toyah, Sarah and Bethany, they're fab strong characters, always entertaining, fabulous actresses and always have brilliant storylines. Favourite male characters are David and Aidan, again they're fabulous characters, always entertaining and such brilliant actors.
What's been some of your favourite Corrie storylines over the years?
Favourite storylines have to be the tram crash, it was so well done. Also Sarah's psychosis storyline, she portrayed it really well! Also Eva's revenge storyline against Aidan and Maria, the way she found out and has been plotting against them since has been brilliant and continues to be brilliant.
And what would your fantasy Corrie storyline be?
My fantasy storyline would be one where the Platts get some happiness for a change, they seem constantly cursed with bad luck.
Have you any snippets or news about meeting any of the Corrie cast, or trips to the set, etc., that you'd like to share?
A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to do a tour of the current Coronation Street set which I'd won in a charity auction and I have to say when I first walked through the gates, it was very nerve-wracking as up until that point I had only ever sat outside the gates for hours to meet some of the cast.
It was amazing to see the sets and to get an insight into the families and filming that we come to look forward to watching on our screens. From the times I've sat outside the gates, I've come to meet quite a few of the cast and they've all been so lovely and very happy to have photos with their fans.
