Fab Photo Friday - May 22nd 2015

It's Friday again so it's time for this week's fab Coronation Street photo. Steve and Michelle are due to be married next week and so it gives me the excuse to show one of my favourite ever Coronation Street wedding photographs again. Here's Shelley Unwin doing the right thing and running away from a life of misery with Charle Stubbs.

Aww I remember cheering at the TV during this episode.

I watched that on youtube a couple of days ago. Brilliant. Love it when she returns to the pub on her own, and chucks away the bride and groom statue from the cake before tucking in. Great end to a very good storyline that had been quite disturbing.

I really love Shelley! I wish she could come back to the street with her child from Charlie Stubbs! X

Blanche had the best line: "Do you think they wrote their own vows?"

Anon at 16.45, that would be brilliant! That would really annoy Tracy, seeing a mini Charlie around. Did we ever know if she had a boy or girl? Did she get mentioned after she left?

With Bev returning for Diedre's funeral it would be an opportunity to prepare us for the return of Charlie Stubbs' offspring. Let the Toothy One be afraid, very afraid. Renege works both ways, toots.

This is one of my favorite episodes. Thanks for showing this picture of Shelley running through the streets in her wedding dress, it made me smile thinking about it.
