Coronation Street's Andy Whyment (Kirk Sutherland) and Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs) are currently over in Canada doing some promotional stuff for Corrie over there and have been interviewed by the Chronicle Herald.
Nice to see the boys sporting t-shirts with the "Keep Calm and Corrie On" logo we created originally here on the Coronation Street Blog that's now been turned into t-shirts.
It's a good interview with the two lads who talk about their storylines on the Street and how they don't mind fans getting their names mixed up with their character names.
“Honestly, we are used to it. I never take offence to it,” says Alan. “Bill Roache, who plays Ken, … he
once told me a story that he was having dinner with his father and his
father was, ‘So, what have you been doing today, Ken?’ His own dad! And
he said. ‘If I can forgive my dad, I can forgive anyone.’”

I'd highly recommend going to see Alan & Andy in Halifax on Friday or Saturday if you don't have tickets already. Fabulous show, very entertaining.
Love the couch!
Do you know if they're touring to any other Canadian cities? I can't find any info about this tour!
