There's a Coronation Street spoiler in today's People that says evil Frank Foster will get nasty with Sally Webster.
The paper says that Sally gets locked into a sinister relationship with Foster as he takes revenge on Carla Connor after she goes to the police when he rapes her. Frank, out on bail after ex-fiancée Carla reported the rape to cops, preys on Sally, actress Sally Dynevor.
First Foster – played by Andrew Lancel – raids Carla’s Underworld factory, taking half the machinery and stock. Then he starts to take her staff, wooing Sally with a 30 per cent rise and grand job title.

I have never found anything evil so far about Frank Foster whereas, there were sort of two sides of John Stape. Corrie viewers obviously knew John could turn from nice to bad (in a way), but to me, it's going to seem strange when Frank Foster turns evil because so far, no viewers have seen him like this. Maybe if they started showing him being a little dangerous to the build-up of what's due to happen with Frank Foster, then I might realise just how dangerous he could change.
I find Frank played in expressionless mode hard to take seriously but i dont fancy his chances with Kev if this is true. He would knock his wooden block off.
Although Sally thinks she's above her station i cannot see her leaving her job to work with a rapist. Especially after Carla was so good with her during her illness.
Excellent moral dilemma - final acheive the status and recognition she's always craved or remain loyal to an employer who stood by her in a time of need? Of bigger interest to me right now is what exactly that prop is next to Sally in the photo on this blog. Can anyone enlighten me?
Agreed with Clare, I think this would be out of character for Sally.
I have liked Andrew Lancel in previous roles, but he is poor in this. Owen is far scarier than Frank.
A lot of stories turn out to be better than they sound when leaked in advance, but I hate this one. Why would a 30% pay rise persuade Sally to work for a rapist, when she has 100 grand in the bank?
Oh, Frank has shown his menacing side plenty of times - he's been shown to be a control freak since we first met him. He isn't overt about it most of the time, and that bland exterior is a good mask, but it has always been clear that he isn't a pleasant character, beneath the surface. There was the encounter with Maria - which, despite fans dismissing it as a mere 'fumble' was a clear sexual assault. We saw him threaten Sean one time, and when he and Carla first started doing business, he was very menacing at times. Last week we saw him manipulate Carla into accepting his proposal when she clearly didn't want to. And the list goes on. His attack on Carla certainly isn't going to come out of the blue or be a case of a sudden change of character from good to evil. He has always been a very murky character who is simply good at hiding his darker side most of the time.
TO ANNONYMOUS : THE PROP IS A TOAST SERVER. YOU STAND THE TOASTS UP IN THE SLOTS. VERY FANCY - VERY SALLY . LOL.
Frank is tonys evil twin!
To Anonymous - your post of 21 August 2011 at 19:25, asking about the prop in the blog photo of Sally: that prop is a ceramic toast rack - very common in England - and it hold half-slices (rectangles or triangles) of warm, toasted bread, and are usually used in the mornings at breakfast-time. There, now you know :)
