I'm probably going to be in for a load of stick on this one, but I really enjoyed this week's storyline with Becky working at the Bistro, having a fling with Nick, all the aggro with Kylie, David, and Steve and the bittersweet finale when she admitted Nick was right, they weren't really going to work as a couple.
I just knew Steve's glamour date was going to be someone from the third level of hell and that moon-faced silent kid! What a brilliant touch he was! He creeped me out and had me chuckling in equal parts.
I've written about it it more detail over here.

that kid was great!
Yep, I loved that whole scene. I actually liked Nick for a while. No wait, what am I saying!!! And Becky, well I had some sympathy for her.
And that kid was hilarious.
that kid lives near me was picked by granada tv !!
I don't like Nick, or the actor that plays him, but I did like him in the scenes with Becky. Who knows it might have been the perfect match!!(Even if only to wind the rest of the Platts up!)
I totally agree. I loved the kid and I thought Nick and Becky were quite suited and natural together. May they have many more flings!
This is why I stick with Corrie. There's always going to be maddening times, when it seems like I can't take any more of a character or storyline. Stape, for instance. Then it all works out on screen. I have a feeling the same is happening with Becky as she bows out.
Oy, some of the gurns Steve pulled in the Joinery! There must have been hundreds of them in the space of 10 minutes! Can you imagine the laughs they all had between takes?
No aggro from me over Becky. After months of wishing she'd just go ahead and leave the show, this episode's performance (especially the kitchen scene at the Platt's) was awards-worthy stuff. I'm still watching the episode right now as I type this (hooray for internet downloads so that I'm not a year behind over here in Canada) and it's just so fantastic that I had to pause to post this!
Becky just bores me everytime I watch her, and it's down to the writers for using her too often.
When the lad was staring constantly at Steve, I thought it was going to be said that he was his son as it looked as if the lad was looking a little curios, then I was wrong and i thought, Oh, what a shame as it would have been comical to find Steve had an unknown son, and what would Lloyd and Norris have thought about this as well as the rest of the street?
This boy and his mum (a fatter version of Becky should join the cast, we need funny characters like this instead of bringing back characters like dull poorly acted Amber and keeping characters on like pointless apart from going from bloke to bloke Tina Macintyre. Lighten up Corrie a bit. I enjoyed their scenes.
More Craig please!!!
i love nick and the actor ben price who plays him hes great i dont think that him and becky really suited sorry. i wish i could of took over the role of becky though cos nick is georgeous!! x
Simon has turned into one hell of an actor.....love his facial expressions and that kid in the Bistro was priceless.....hahaha. I hate to say it but I thought Nick and Becky were good together, though a bit OTT in Gail's kitchen, though even if they were doing 'it' on the counter, I'm sure Gail would just tut and bat her eyelashes.....
i ben price a.k.a nick tilsley's biggist fan luv u benX
