Marc / Marcia's Coronation Street caricature

Jo Blakely is the talented artist who creates these wonderful Coronation Street caricatures.

She's just done another one, of Marc/Marcia and it's so good it deserved to be blogged.

Have a look at more of Jo's work here.

Another winner, Jo!

Jo skill and talent as an artist is certainly far better than that of the actual actor and character of Marc.

Nice one! I'm quite liking the Marcia storyline now - hated it at first. Terrible wig she's got though.

Love the stance - effectively represents the lack of femininity that I associate with Marcia.

This is the one storyline I can't stomach - but probably more down to the appalling acting than anything else. The sooner he/she goes, the better.

jo's got it spot on once again..his legs and cheap wig show how totally unconvincing the actor and character are..i thought jack duckworth was more convincing in drag when he joined the womens bowling team

It was so funny when Marcia clunked into The Rovers in his Jimmys and his nylon fright wig expecting everyone to just accept "him". All the jaws dropped to the floorboards. I did think Sue Nicols acted her socks off yesterday. A good episode for once.
