Just when Becky thought she'd got away with it, the looting problem seems to be about to come back to haunt her and Steve.
According to the Daily Star, and "insider" has revealed that Dev and Sunita get some new evidence that could pin down the identity of the looter. You will recall that Becky stole the cash to pay off Kylie so they could keep wee Max.
Steve confesses to save Becky but Becky trumps him with a confession of her own. She pleads her case, working on the Alahans' emotions and they decide not to persue the issue but Steve tells Becky she's on her last chance.
With Katherine Kelly possibly (and that's pure speculation as it's probably just when her contract is up for renewal) leaving at the end of this year, if this story is true then it might be laying the ground for Becky's eventual exit, I'm guessing.

It's time for Becks to go. It's too over-the-top anymore with the storylines. I don't buy the Tracy carry-on either. It's like they've stuffed all their previous plots over the past 35 years, jumbled them up and are pulling them out and just changing the characters. It's also time for Stape to go. Surely they aren't going to destroy Fizz's character in the bargain...she was such a strong character but is now mewling and crying ALL the time. I'm not watching anymore...going to EE I think.
I agree that Becky is past her sell-by date. It's too bad, actually, because they really ruined a good character. I find I can barely stand when she now appears, and fight the urge to just fast-forward past her to get to the next scene.
There are too many nasty manipulative characters around on the Street at the moment (Becky, her 'alf sister who turns up every now and then, Tracy, Scumbag Stape etc). Its not why I started watching Corrie. Weatherfield would be a much better place without Becky. Why does Steve always take the blame for her actions and always forgive her?
