For those of us missing Liz McDonald, take heart. She'll be back on screen in Coronation Street on March 14th after visting son Andy in Spain. And, according to Inside Soap magazine, Steve and Becky will be heading to Spain to visit Andy too, leaving Lloyd in charge at the Rovers Return. But if Lloyd thinks running a pub's a doddle, he hasn't banked on warring barmaids Tracy Barlow and Tina McIntyre.
But, I digress. What this post is really about is that when Liz does return to Corrie, big Jim McDonald follows her and turns up on screen a week later, March 24.
The magazine says that Jim has a 'shocking suggestion' for Liz and I'm guessing it's not 'do you not think yer shud let yer hem line down a wee bit, Elizabeth?' Let's hope that Liz's leaving storyline for Corrie gets her back together with big Jim and the two of them can go off and live happily ever after, Ulster Fry style. Right after Jim's punched out Owen's lights.

Oh it just has to be! I have wanted to see these two go off happy into the sunset for ages! I'm sure that's where it was headed when Jim came back before Bev Callard went off the screen.
Best Corrie news in ages... well since Dennis Tanner's return was announced.
Haven't wanted a couple to get back together as much since Meg and Hugh!
I'm so pleased that Liz & Jim could get back together. There has never really been anyone else for either of them. I don't usually condone violence, but to maybe see Jim punching Owen and Peter striking Nick are two episodes I don't want to miss!
Where has Liz been, why was she not in the tram crash etc?
Anonymous, Bev Callard has gone AWOL again. Her absence hasn't been publicly announced, but the last time was for depression. To be honest there doesnt seem to be any point bringing her back for a few weeks just to write her out again. They should just have Steve announce that she decided to live there indefinately.
Hurrah I love a happy ending and Jim and Liz belong together so they do! I am looking forward to this although it means the end of Jim too.
