Nick's Bistro unveiled

MTVnewscanada posted a picture today from Coronation Street, I couldn't help but notice on small detail...the new Joinery! (To the left of the picture) From the picture it looks quite...American, and probably is the biggest change the tram crash has brought. The Joinery is no more though, it seems, Nick looks to have changed its name.

People have been speculating what the sign says. Deborah from the Coronation Street Chatter forum suggested that the full name could be "Nick's Bistro" which sounds like it could most probably be the name, it could be a Cafe by day and a bar/restaraunt by night.

UPDATE: Full picture of Nick's Bistro posted, see more set pics on MTV News Canada's blog

Just letting you know your link for mtvnewscanada isn't correct (missing .something) and is "address not found".

Ah cheers, I'll fix the link

That link also doesn't work: "Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!" I managed to find mtvnewscanada at Twitter (I'm not into Twitter or Facebook, but searched based on your link), but I can't find the reference.

You're probably right. It does say Nick's over it and B I... is probably Bistro. I doubt it would be Bingo Hall ;) I wouldn't name it Joinery anyway, bad luck!

Haha yeah :p

I really like the new look of the place, it looks very American, a bistro also works better on a back street than a bar

It figures he'd change it completely - it was Leanne who designed the classy tone the place had before. He doesn't have her input any more.

I think that the Bistro will work better- having The Joinery and The Rovers on the same street didn't feel right. Hopefully the Bistro will come crashing down as well and Nick will be inside- can't stand the character

With the idiots' business acument how long will this little venture last. Do the residents of Weatherfield really need a Bistro, they seem to be happy wi chippie.

Agree Frosty, and wouldn't it affect Roy's business?

At least the trauma of being under the rubble and subsequent events can go some way to explaining why Nick Tilsley looks 15 - 20 years older than his age. Every cloud has a silver lining!
