Turning 30 on Thursday 19th November 2009, Katherine Kelly, who plays Becky McDonald in Coronation Street, marked her birthday in a way she will never forget. Having sponsored a child with ActionAid for several years, Katherine decided to travel to India to meet women of around the same age who have benefitted from the charity’s work.You can watch a video of Katherine in India and find out more about the charity trip at the ActionAid website.
