Blanche Hunt has the last laugh

There's a lovely little piece in The Sunday People that says the last word we'll see Blanche Hunt say on screen is: "Hallelujah!"

It's going to be very interesting to see how the Corrie writers handle Blanche's absence or departure and there's a lot of comment here which indicates fans would like to see Blanche given a proper send-off on screen.
