Graeme Hawley in Coventry public reading

Graeme Hawley, who plays John Stape in Coronation Street, is in Coventry today to launch the UK’s first professional shop front theatre. Graeme is appearing in award-winning city drama Car at the former chip shop at 38 City Arcade.

Julia Negus, of Theatre Absolute, said: “We are delighted that Graeme is able to join us for the launch of the shop front theatre and he has always been very supportive. He will be taking part in a rehearsed reading of Car.”
