The Writers' Guild of Great Britain has honoured the Coronation Street writing team with an award for the best continuing TV drama. The prestigious annual awards took place on Sunday at London's Free Word Centre. The Writers' Guild is the trade union which represents writers in TV, radio, theatre, books, poetry, film, online and video games.
