Written by David Lane, directed by Pip Short.
Darryl has had enough with Teresa and tells her that she's basically gotten rid of everyone in his life that he cares about. He confessed to Tyrone that if he lives with her in that flat any longer that only one of them is going to get out alive, so he kicks her out. Although, we all know how this will end.
Tyrone wakes up worse for wear after having one-too-many and spilling his cookies in the kebab shop the night before. He anxiously awaits Molly's return. However, Tyrone is far from Molly's mind as she and Kevin continue to gallavant in Chester (aka La-la-land) completely in-lust. Kevin persuades Molly to stay another night with him and calls Sally to tell her that he's missed the last train and will come home tomorrow. Kev asks Molly if she's going to call Tyrone and tell him the same. Tyrone is at home dressed in his Sunday Best doing up a romantic dinner table when the phone rings. Poor Tyrone!
Chesney gives Fiz a letter to give to John. Is it a "Dear John" letter, perhaps? Okay, that was cheesy. Fiz tells Ches she can't give John a letter in prison, so Ches tells her to read it herself. Essentially, Ches is OK with living with John and Fiz so long as they live on the street. Coronation Street, that is, not THE street. Did anyone else think the same thing? Moving on, Fiz relays this info to John in prison, and John thinks that this is a good thing especially the results of his round-robin letters since they now have SOME support at least. Only time will tell.
Norris doesn't seem to be missing Rita one bit as he's completely enthralled with the charms of Sheila Wheeler. At least he's in a much lighter mood! Deirdre informs Norris that that they are planning a joint birthday party for Ken (who's 70) and Emily (who's closing 80) in the Rovers and he's welcome to join. Sheila Wheeler takes it on her own to accept the invitation as well. What do we think of Sheila Wheeler? She's a bit Aunt Pam, isn't she? I'm feeling deja vu.
Leanne complains about her job again, so much to the point where she decides to quit. She's very down about it and the fact that no one recognises her qualifications and potential, including Peter. Peter later apologises to her about not giving a fig about her career woes, and in the end tells her that it's their loss. I feel something brewing...don't you?
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Liz giving Theresa the stare-down after her little confront. Who do you think would win? The terrier or the bulldog?
- Sally barking at Fiz in the street and Fiz telling her to "Get Stuffed!" Could it be, is Fiz-Bomb back? I'm feeling a tingle.
- Chesney letting Fiz and John know that he's willing to compromise - he'll live with them, as long as they stay on Coronation Street. That lad is so mature.
LOWLIGHTS:
- Darryl treating Teresa like crap-ola. It wasn't her fault that Amber left, it was Dev's! I know he's angry, but he's unnecessarily cruel sometimes.
- Molly and Kevin, again. And Kevin skipping out on Sally for another bird on the day before their anniversary? He forgot? Terrible husband.
- Tyrone dressed nicely and setting a nice table, only to be disappointed. Does Molly know how many women would like to be treated to a meal that way by him? (possibly?)
- Norris and Sheila's double-act. I find it mildly annoying. I miss Rita!

I find Sheila quite annoying, like Mary before her. I miss Rita now, and she's gone for a few weeks. Dunno what'll happen if she leaves permanently!
I dont like Sheila either, annoying, self obsessed and downright rude (to Dierdre who was a customer. I dont think Norris is enthalled either, I think she is beginning to get on his nerves. Loved the show down with Liz and Theresa and noticed how Liz towered over here, didnt know Liz was that tall or Theresa that short! Do disagree slightly over the Amber business. Theresa did rather spitefully tell Amber that Darryl had accepted Dev's cash. And I actually felt sorry for Sally, I cannt stand this Molly/Kevin story and switch over when they are kissing - YUK!
I miss Rita too! Sheila is NO Rita, dear. She's very self-absorbed!
