Video: Catherine Tyldesley reveals more details of slavery storyline

Catherine Tyldesley, who plays Eva Price on Coronation Street, was interviewed on ITV's This Morning today. She was there to talk about Marta the slave girl storyline that's currently playing out in the soap.

So far we've seen Eva protect Marta, but all is not as it seems. Catherine reveals that Marta steals a couple of items from the Rectory where she's staying with Billy the vicar. Catherine says that Eva could potentially put all her mates out of work at Underworld if the O'Driscolls take their order away from the factory.

Catherine says she's working with a charity called Hope for Justice in the research for this storyline. It's a charity which aims to end human trafficking.

As an actress, Catherine says she's "at home" in Coronation Street. She's also currently trying to plan her wedding and she's in training with other Corrie actors to do the Trek Fest - read more on that here.
