Alan Halsall, who plays Coronation Street's Tyrone Dobbs has split from his wife Lucy-Jo Hudson. Lucy-Jo played Katy Harris in Coronation Street.
The couple married in June 2009.
They confirmed their separation in a statement today which reads:
"Lucy-Jo Hudson and Alan Halsall are sad to announce that they have separated. They've shared many wonderful years together and will remain close friends. They ask for privacy at this emotional time, to allow them both to focus on their beautiful daughter Sienna-Rae, to ensure her continued happiness."

So sorry to hear about you both its never a good time to split up . Iv been there after 35 years we split but iv got passed it and we're still good friends . So take care and be happy both of you xx
Shame, and their little one is only a baby still. Unrelated, look how thin Alan has become! downright skinny.
So sorry to hear the sad news - you have known each other for years and hopefully you will be able to remain really good friends and get over this hurdle. My ex-husband and I are still together after 20 years of being divorced. I always tease him that we have been together longer than we were ever married. Who would have guessed? Just goes to show that sometimes time apart is the best medicine to realize what you had in the first place. Being friends is the key to any relationship. You can always work on the other smaller problems.
Gosh...that is too bad...they looked to be such a happy couple..now with a little girl...... I had noticed, as well, how slim Alan has become at Tony Warren's funeral.....
Tvor - stress will shed pounds better than a protein shake will.
That was my first thought too - they just had a wee one...I hate to see couples with kids split up.
