THURSDAY 24TH DECEMBER
TYRONE HOPES FOR A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE Whilst the residents put the finishing touches to the Christmas trees, Fiz breaks the news to Tyrone that Hope might not be allowed home for Christmas and Lapland might have to wait. As Kevin works on the lights and Kirk tinkers with the snow machine, a downbeat Tyrone announces that Hope’s being kept in hospital. But as Tyrone gazes despondently around the street, a taxi pulls up and Fiz climbs out with Hope. Tyrone’s thrilled and as he hugs them tightly, suddenly the Christmas lights come on. Is it going to be a great Christmas after all?
TRACY MAKES A SPARKLING DISCOVERY Making out he’s going Christmas shopping, Robert heads out. As Tracy tidies round, she’s thrilled to discover an engagement ring in Robert’s jacket pocket. Tracy confides in Todd that she thinks Robert’s planning to propose and she’s not sure what to do. Meanwhile Robert visits Rob in prison. Rob takes pleasure in telling him about Tracy’s recent visits. Refusing to let Rob get to him, Robert retorts that he intends to propose to Tracy on Christmas Day and leaves.
IT’S A FROSTY CHRISTMAS FOR KYLIE AND DAVID Sarah tells Kylie that out of the goodness of his heart, David’s taken Max to visit Marion and she should cut him some slack. When David returns home with Max, Kylie apologises for snapping at him earlier but David remains hurt, wondering what happened to the trust between them.
ELSEWHERE As Roy and Cathy quiz Chesney and Sinead about their trip to Portugal, it’s clear Sinead is out of sorts. Tim and Craig enjoy a roast dinner in the café, declaring it their Christmas works party.
As Aidan and Kate decorate the tree, Carla joins them, and Johnny raises a toast to their mother.

Sooo tired of the on again off again David and Kylie routine.
BTW..I also wanted to thank all of the bloggers taking the time writing their reviews, and giving us glimpses of Corrie over the years (I missed a lot of them) and for allowing me to put in my two cents worth over the past year.
Kylie has a lot of nerve constantly berating David when she's a murderer, who he is constantly covering up for and protecting. Just saying.
Manslaughter - if even that, under the circumstances. She's not a murderer, there was nothing premeditated, nor intent to kill. She acted in defence of Sarah. The real crime lies IN the cover-up ... and that was largely David's doing.
