Immersing herself in a game of roulette, Carla's surprised when Robert, still cut up over Tracy, enters the casino and joins her at the table.
Having won a small fortune, Robert and Carla celebrate with a drink.
On a high, Robert suggests they take the champagne to a bedroom. Robert and Carla kiss passionately whilst ripping at each other’s clothes.

I can see more passion (from Robert) in that photo than all his scenes with Tracyluv.
In any pairing, at least one of the parties has to be a strong actor. That's why Tracy and Rob worked so well, but not Tracy and Robert. Anyone who works with Alison King gets lifted sky high so Carla and Robert will have loads of chemistry
I agree Humpty re Alison King. I suspect you're right and they will have chemistry.
Robert needs to wake up and smell the coffee. Tracy's not worth it and he'd be a better character without her. Unfortunately I think the writers have other ideas. They'll continue trying to convince us that Robert just can't help but love Tracy and keep them together. They're dull and there's zero chemistry but we're stuck with them.
