Cathy is splashing about in the sea with her shoes and socks off and there's another picture of her and Roy enjoying an ice-cream.

Blackpool is, of course, a very special place for Roy Cropper as it's where he went with Hayley before she died and they danced together in the Tower Ballroom.

Does anyone else find it odd that Roy would take Cathy, whom he's known 5 minutes, to his and Hayley's special place?
I wondered that too, Anon. And it might be because Cathy is as fond of Blackpool as Roy is and it means a lot to her and her late husband. I do hope so otherwise it feels a bit uncomfortable that Roy would share Hayley's favourite place with Cathy.

For what it's worth,I thought Amsterdam was Roy and Hayley's special place?I don't see anything wrong with Roy and Cathy going to Blackpool as it is a popular holiday spot.
I mean no disrespect but it wouldn't be right for Roy not have fun again because Hayley died as life does go on.
