Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Webster on Coronation Street, gives a lovely, long interview to today's Mirror in which she says the time is right for her to ditch her wig and appear with her own hair on Corrie. It's a wonderful, uplifting interview and you can read it here.
Sally's also been awarded a Tesco Mum of the Year award which she will receive at a ceremony next Sunday.

I actually think that short short cut extremely chic and I dont know why she wore that daft wig in the first place. Sally has a pretty face to carry off a short style.
I agree - Sally's new hair is gorgeous, and a vast improvement. I was disappointed when she came back with the wig, but I understand that it might have been hard for the actress to expose herself in that way so soon.
I think we'll see the new do by the time of Sophie's fall off the church
She's an absolute doll and about time she got rid of that awful wig...as if nobody could tell. New Sally...new do.
I am so glad she is getting rid of that wig! It was doing my head in, never mind how she must have felt!
I think Sally realy suits her hair really short like that anyway, hopefully she'll keep it like that!
I love Sally the actress much more than I love Sally the character.
She's good at playing a rubbish mom, wife, neighbor, and a social climbing snob! I love to hate her! But this romance with oddball Alfie/Jeff is lame... what guy is going to go after some middle-aged dame who's going through a divorce, has needy grown teen-age girls and works in a sweatshop knicker-factory? He's probably going to be exposed as some freak... ordinary blokes would take one look at "Sally" and go screaming in the opposite direction!... so I wonder what gives with this slimy guy... he, he...
I think Sally really suits the short hairstyle, she should keep it that way as she has the pretty face to carry it off. I thought the wig was awful and looked a bit like a mop!
The wigs are always in bits on all the soaps - they never wash them - watch and you will witness
