While watching Corrie last night, I noticed something, the location Sophie was calling home from. It'd been used before, and quite recently too, as Cheryl's lap dancing club (the second one, where she only worked for a few days, not La Belle). Knowing the Corrie set quite well, I also know that it is very close by to where the old Davenports Garage used to be, which of course was under a viaduct - Which was the viaduct used for the original outdoor Corrie set!

That actually looks like the staircase that used to lead up to the old Baker Street set and corrie outdoor set from a big courtyard inside the old Granada tour entrance. Is it?
Yep, thats the one xD (I actually learnt about that area thanks to some people at TV forum) they seem to be using that courtyard for "on location" scenes lol
The first time i was on the set in 2000 that's the way we came in. That was before they built Studio 2
The original street used to be right beside it, didn't it? I saw a picture of it running along that side of the bonded warehouse
I wish I got to go on that tour lol
In 2000, you went up those stairs and were then on the street set they used for Baker Street and some other ITV stuff. then you came out of that part which was covered over and shadowy and you went into the sun and you were on Victoria Street and round the corner to the Rovers!
I see :D I've always wondered whereabouts the Baker Street set was lol
