Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster) and ex-Corrie actor John Thomson (Jessie Chadwick) recently got a grilling at the Restaurant Bar and Grill in Manchester in preparation to do battle at Celebrity Grilling: The Sequel on Sunday 3rd October. It's all to raise funds for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity. John, who's patron of the Charity, will captain an all-stars team from TV as they bid to win over guests and guest Head Chef Simon Rimmer with their culinary and presentation skills. The evening promises to be full of surprises as the two teams prepare three course meals for guests.
John said: “I’m really looking forward to getting in that kitchen and cooking up a treat for guests. I love cooking but I’m used to preparing meals for family and friends so making dishes for so many is really going to test my metal but at the end of the day its about having fun to raise money for a worthwhile cause that I know makes a difference to children at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.”

I love John Thomson, he is one of the best actors in the UK. I haven't seen him in something for a while, so will be good to see him back.
