The official Corrie website reports that the actress who plays Marina in Last of the Summer Wine, actress Jean Fergusson, is joining Coronation Street to play Charlotte's mum. Jean will play Dorothy Hoyle, who is under the impression that Charlotte and John are to be married. Jean has been signed for six episodes and she began filming earlier this week.
