Violet Wilson on Facebook

Ok, I'm sad, I admit it. But I bet I'm not the only Coronation Street fan who searched to see if Violet Wilson was really on Facebook. Ahem.

Anyway, her relationship status is "complicated" and she says: "I am currently living in London but contemplating making a return to Weatherfield to see some old friends."

Here she is...

Oh dear - am I missing something here (wouldn't be unusual) but what happened to Rupert and the baby? None of my business of course, just wondering.

Ooh... I always liked Jamie and Violet together (much better than Jamie and Frankie, a story-line that still causes me to wretch slightly). I liked to think of them living groovily ever after in London (sad, I know). No doubt this is all in service of Sean the dad... the thought of that also makes me wretch slightly...

Oh that's too bad.
"Violet" and "Jamie" made a lovely couple and I too like to think that they lived happily ever after in London with their baby.
Now it seems that that is not the case for Jenny and Rupert and their baby...

Here's what "sad", Flaming Nora, when I checked out her FB page she had 1,348 friends! That's over 1,000 friends more than I have. And she's a fictional character... Interesting to note that her profile says she is interested in mean AND women. If she returns to Weatherfield, I predict the plot will thicken.

I think that a gay baby would be a wonderful addition to Corrie, to show that the last barriers of prejudice andd bigotry are falling.
