There's going to be a Coronation Street gala dinner for fans to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary.
Organised by the Oldham Chronicle, the gala dinner will be held on Saturday October 23rd, at Chadderton Town Hall, Oldham. This was a location used for Curly and Raquel's Wedding.
The evening will have a Corrie 50th theme with a talk by Mark Llewellin and a chance to meet someone related to the show (they have yet to confirm who).
Tickets will cost £35 per person and will include a meal. More information is available by emailing: promotions@oldham-chronicle.co.uk or calling 0161 622 2130.
