The cast and crew spent a day filming at Cousins’ Salford store and for company founder and lifelong Coronation Street fan Robert Shotton it was a dream come true
“I’ve been a fan of the show for years and I hardly missed an episode so when the location team approached me, I was very pleased to get involved,” said Robert, who launched the company in Birmingham with his cousins Edward and William 25 years ago.
“More than 30 cast and crew arrived at the store for a very long day’s filming and it was fascinating to watch how much effort goes into putting the scenes together for what is just a few minutes on screen. As the filming took place inside and outside the store, word spread and we saw quite a few people coming in to have a look and see what was happening,” said Robert.

That must indeed have been a thrill for the owner of the store.
What a bonus, having the opportunity to see 'behind the scenes' and all the preparation work; would definitely enhance future enjoyment of the show...
can't have been bad for business, either!
I thought the scenes in the furniture shop were great!
I would have thought they would have used Harvey's Furniture Store (probably against sponsorship rules!)
Love the group photo; they certainly look ( especially "Eddie") like they've enjoyed themselves.
