According to the Sun, Roy and Hayley are finally, *finally* going to be legally married this year!
Even though they had a wedding in April 1999, it wasn't a legal union but the laws preventing that have since changed. Fans have been clamouring for them to be married properly and it looks like it might actually happen this year as part of the ongoing 50th anniversary storylines on Corrie.
The Sun says there's friction because each wants a different type of wedding but as usual, Hayley prevails and there's a big celebration. Do you think they should get married in a church or some other venue like an outside park?

Mazel tov!!!
This is wonderful news and I know someone, ahem, who reads this blog who will be very very happy with this news!!!
Yay! About time too! Let's hope they don't decide to split them up a couple of months later.
Let's just say that things are afoot :)
Aww yay.
I've got the hankies out already. Wonder if Hayley will be running herself up a gown? And will Eddie Windass do the cake?

Fantastic! One of the best 50th storylines i have heard so far actually. A truly fitting one to mark the occasion. Unlike the sensationalist trash down south!
Yeah I reckon this'll be lovely. Roy and Hayley are great people.
Now that's proper TV wedding where probably everything will actually go RIGHT!!!
Yay! This would be fantastic. Maybe Hayley and Roy could SALSA at their wedding for everyone! (Ha - doubt that'll happen, but it'd be fun!)
That'd be brilliant! Maybe Roy will surprise us.
