Hello everyone, it's Glenda here (aka Flaming Nora), editor of Coronation Street Blog.
I've always loved writing all of my life, and I'm very proud to say that my debut novel Belle of the Back Streets is released in paperback on March 7th with publishers Headline.
It's the first of my three novels with Headline that are set in the northeast coal mining village of Ryhope (where I'm from and grew up). Belle of the Back Streets is a story about a young girl who takes on her dad's rag and bone round after he passes away. It's a rollicking read, a real soapy romp full of villains and matriachs and some wonderful, lively characters. The women, of course, are the stars of the story!
You can find out more about Belle of the Back Streets here.
Before the paperback edition of Belle of the Back Streets is released next month, I'm running a competition to win a signed copy of the hardback version of the book. The book prize also comes with bookmarks and postcards and a lovely big bar of chocolate.
To enter, all details are on my Facebook page.
Good luck!
Look out for my second novel The Tuppenny Child which is released in hardback, audio and ebook in May and in paperback in October.
The third novel Pearl of Pit Lane will be released in hardback, audio and ebook in November this year and in paperback in March next year.
