Well, we’ve already had the tabloid rumours that Gary is going to make Nicola pregnant – you can read that here.
And it does indeed seem as if that tabloid rumour might come true. Next week in Coronation Street, Gary returns from Ukraine bearing expensive gifts and says he has no intention of returning again.
But when Izzy tells him that Jake needs expensive speech therapy he is forced to accept another contract.
In a bid to cheer himself and Sarah up he takes her out for champagne but when she refuses a second night on the town due to work he goes out by himself and bumps into Nicola in a bar - unaware who she is he unburdens himself.
Will he regret the conversation when he discovers she is Phelan’s daughter?

Contrived, much?
Of course she's going to get pregnant. Having sex with the wrong person/one night stand always ends up that way on a soap, at least *almost* always. Standard soap opera plot. and if Gary ends up with Nicola just because Sarah wont' go out a second night, that's utterly selfish and Sarah deserves much better.
Er, speech therapy for children who really need it is available on the NHS, so why n earth would it be expensive?
