As I walked around the new set back in August I noticed that several editions of the Weatherfield Gazette were scattered across houses, some of which were months and even years old. Surely they'd make sure to change the papers atleast once a week or fortnight on set?

I noticed that as well! Glad to see someone else did as well, I recall checking and there were no tweets ... Kind of fun anyways when that kind of thing happens ...
