Coronation Street Blog Advent Calendar 2014 - Day 1

It's that time of year ago when we start the countdown to Christmas with a look at past festive seasons on the cobbles. Today we travel back to 1968 for a traditional sing song around the piano in The Rovers.

Hey, Sunny Jim, do you know if the piano that's in the old set public tour Rovers is the one that Ena played? When I took the tour, my guide wasn't sure, and I asked at the gift store but they weren't sure, either. Do you have a source you can check that out for me, please? I took a picture (just in case!). Thanks.

No, I think it's fair to say that it definitely wouldn't be the same piano that's currently on the Corrie set.

As Flaming Nora says, it's highly unlikely.

I seem to remember a story from a while ago that Coldplay had donated the current piano in The Rovers.
